Quality Assurance System

As part of the University's Quality Assurance (QA) System (University Quality Assurance Committee) and in line with the national system for the evaluation, quality assurance, and accreditation of universities, an internal evaluation process is in place for teaching, research, and third mission activities.

All necessary procedures are in place for the planning of activities and their periodic monitoring, and the subsequent evaluation of the qualitative results of educational activities and related services, through questionnaires designed to gather student feedback and through additional self-evaluation activities, in order to assess the overall level of student satisfaction at the end of the course, with particular regard to the activities of teachers, the preparation received, the use of facilities and laboratories, and the effectiveness of the organization and services.

The documentation collected is subject to periodic analysis by the relevant Course Councils and Department Councils and to reports sent to the Academic Senate and the Evaluation Unit, containing any proposals for corrective measures, also in light of any shortcomings and inconveniences that may have been found.

The QA Representative for Teaching, Research and Third mission is Prof. Antonietta Lupo.
